I heard Brian Clark's tune "West" and was intrigued at his sound. After searching the song I see it was recorded by you...very nice job on the recording. I've recently recorded a CD at the Paper Street studio here in Cape Coral, Florida. I'll be joining CD Baby as soon as the songs are finished being mastered at a friends studio in NC. Just checking out your sight ;-) John
I am scrutinizing your newest CD "Raven" and will shortly review it. It sounds promising. Kind regards
Your newest journal entry is more than well written. It's like being in a movie theatre inside my mind.
I loved Abenaki Hills The music takes me back to my Dylan days.
Hi Kristina. I love Froggy Bottom Guitars and, on the site, I've found your link. I play guitar since I was thirteen and, from two years, only in opening tunings (now I'm using DGDFCD and also DACGCE). I listen and I love music of Will Ackerman but also Alex De Grassi, Michael Hedges (god bless his soul), Pino Forastiere, Joe Diorio, Pat Metheny, John Rembourn and so on... I have four guitars: one Ovation Celebrity, one Yamaha Acoustic D360 and one Yamaha silent guitar (excellent when I play during the night at home) and one Ibanez super edition artist (semi-acoustic). One day I will buy a Froggy guitar but, for doing this, I'll come in America because I desire to customize the instrument on my way to play. Thank you for your attention and I hope that you will forgive my mistakes in your language. I've seen that you're on FB, I'm on FB too, I'll send you a request of friendship; if you don't want, delete it, there's no matter. With my best regards, Alberto
....tonight I was very fortune...! ....I hear you and I will hear you...! Costas....Athens Greece ...Ithaka is an Island...!!!! Remember it Kris !

Hi Kristina, just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your music, I believe you're such a gifted songwriter...and that Vermont really seems a quiet piece of heaven that your songs somehow reflects. Thank you, Simo
Love the CD - classy blues oriented folk & funky lyricism (like a good marriage) are equal partners... Congratulations & good luck. R/.
I just found you on Shure Notes. I front the cover band "Phill 'n the Blanks" based in Waterbury, VT. We're having a busy summer including an appearance at the Lake Champlain Bluegrass/country Festival in Alburg, VT in August.
Hi Kristina, I was eating fish and chips at a diner after I had a wonderful hour of meditation at a chapel with a spectacular 360 degree view of Burke and other mountains. I picked up the paper and there you were in an article about your wonderful studio. Your philosophy resonated with me and I will be calling you tomorrow,Feb.22, to talk about the possibility of recording some music I have written. I do not believe in coincidences and I am excited about finding you. Peace, Donna
Thanks so much for being a part of this benefit CD, http://vermontcareforall.org/ On behalf of all of the folks at the Vermont Workers' Center, thank you!

Kristina, I heard your song "Children be Wise" from Earth's Fading Light this morning on WOMR-92.1 Outermost Cape (my favorite station). My son is an accomplished singer/songwriter and guitarist as well and his name is Derek Astles. He has made a couple of albums as well and in fact, has played many times in venues in Burlington, Vt, He is most well known in NH and NC but has toured x-country. Thanks for your wonderful gift of song and sound.

Hi Kristina, Hope to be doing some gigs together in the near future!
Hi Kristina, Nice site- Just got here from Mike's site after checking the Burlington Free Press article on North Branch Instruments. We sure miss you- still, after all this time. Looking forward to getting together with you and Michael some day soon. Read some of the blog entries here and noticed something about "flatlanders" and feel compelled to say that (as a 13th generation Woodchuck) we have "Flatlanders" here, for sure. We also have wonderful "Transplants" and you, dear Kristina, if you were not born here you must have been in another life because you are a Vermonter. If not by blood, certainly by transplant. Heading out to get the mail and plan to stop at Buch Speiler's to pick up your new CD.

Hey Kristina, I am slowly finding my way across the web of connections. I didn't realize I needed to move to Macedonia to become so adept in technology. I really enjoyed listening to your unreleased tracks. Thanks for many moods of your music. Keep up your wonderful creative soul. By the way I listen to your other CDs on my antique CD player that was easy to fit in my suitcase. Kay
I heard "Songs to My Children" on Robert Reznic's "All the Traditions" VPR show, and it really grabbed me...It could have been written about my own son and daughter. Beautiful, just beautiful. I am also a VT singer/songwriter, although I am not able to do it for my living anymore; but i know that songs are like children themselves. May i say, you have beautiful children. :-)
If we could only get you Maine for an evening or two!! Dam!!
Hi Kristina, Are you married? Very nice music. There is so much talent in and around the upper valley I'm proud to be a native of the area. My family has been here for ever but some of them are gone. Never going to leave. I to spend a lot of time playing. MJH,folk, and a little bit of everything.
